That'd be cool for sure, but definitely a dream for another day. It's a minor miracle that the DS-500 exists at all, let alone in the refined state that it is now. Most folks balk at the price of the light as is. Much as I would like to try an RF remote approach, it would no doubt add cost. Now, when it comes to operating the DS lights in the presence of other RF sensitive devices, I can say that the DS has proven to be very electrically quiet and non-interfering in the presence of GPS, heart rate monitors, RF cycle computers, etc. whereas this has not been the case with other lights with less "refined" electronics.

For me the price is worth it, butnI would really like it if lupine quality batteries could be had for at least 30% less. Maybe $120 for the 6.6 battery. And please do not do anything wireless, or at least give us who dont want it the chance to advoid it. It is just one more thing to go wrong. More efficiency and higher brightness is what is needed. And this thing is REALLY small btw. Smaller than I remember my 400r being.
