The DS-500 in Britain

Evening,

Just reading through the forum I saw a post stating that there was only one DS-500 in Britain. Out of general interest, would it be possible for a rough run-down on how many of theses there are around the world.

I am going to be in Serbia in a few weeks; on the Bulgarian border. I guess mine will be the first DS-500 to grace these countries.

Probably 6 or 7 in the UK.
They are in LOTs of other countries around the world. Close to 400 in service now, but definitely not in Serbia or Bulgaria. You'll be the first!

Someone just today asked me about where I got it. After telling them how to find it, I always add "they're pretty rare, but incredibly bright." Didn't know just how rare until today. Glad to be part of the club :-)

Just shipped another taillight to the UK today, so the "club" grows by one more ;)

I have had my build 3 DS-500 since 2013 , I was late getting my name on the list in 2012 for the 3rd build, and ended up 7th in the reserve queue when people dropped out of the list. I ordered it without a battery to save on shipping costs and bought the MJ-6038 in UK for it. Done loads of miles with in now round Aberdeen, and fairly keeps the cars off my back at night. Only stopped by the cops once so far.
