Great light. Level 5, WOW WOW WOW. You owe me a pair of socks. Mine was blown away by the light.
Thanks.

Thanks Leonard! Glad to hear that it's meeting expectations.
Very easy to switch between Superlock enabled or disabled.
I've linked a PDF file here from the google-site that details the procedure, but even better, just check out this YouTube video, which will show you how. Note that the comments about the "firmware bug" no longer apply to build #2/3 lights.

DS-1300 Filter Experience
Some good experience with the yellow filter for the DS-1300, reprinted here with permission from one of my CA customers.

Stephen,
The yellow lens is amazing! My 15.5 mile commute to work isnt heavily travelled by cyclists during the week. I typically will see 2 or 3 other cyclists during the commute. The headlight alone is well noticed, but the yellow lens freezes oncoming left turners. And, on a several mile section of two lane suburban road, three oncoming cars actually pulled over and slowed or stopped until I passed!!!
There is no question that it is very good to be seen by approaching traffic from any direction. The cars are used to the .5 watt to 1 watt blinkies and they know that they are "just bikes" With the Designshine lights, the image is so large that they dont know what they are approaching and become more cautious!
Thank you!
