    Good comparison.

    I never used my previous tail-light in the day - an 80 lumen Chinese unit that was surprisingly well made with the best battery pack I have purchased. I guess there was little point in using it, but as can be seen in this video, the DS-500 is glaringly obvious in the day, even from a few hundred meters.

    It doesn't stop some ungraceful motorists trying to overtake me at 30mph in 30mph zones in town though
